| While touring Scotland we popped in to Chambers Bar for lunch on a typical dreary wet Scottish Thursday afternoon and were greeted by a cheery wee lass who took our drink and lunch orders. We both had Chef Alistair's famous (so we found out) steak pie and OH MY GOD was that the best thing we'd eaten in a long time! We passed a couple of hours in Chambers that day and I have to say it changed our day, turning it into one filled with fun, banter, wonderful Scottish food and great company. Thanks to Grant, Ali and Jaqui for making us welcome. Hope to see you again when we come back to Scotland! PS Thanks for sending us your website address www.chambersbar.co.uk.
