| totally appalling, my husband took me there for an anniversary meal, i chose the roast beef sunday lunch,this consisted of 2 slices of very thin frozen boil in the bag beef,2 oily roast potatoes,a soggy yorkshire pudding,no gravy and a couple of spoonfulls of rock hard vegetables.my husband had the roast pork lunch,this was equally terrible.the service was nonexsistant, the so called waiter spent most of his time chatting to his friends who were in the restaurant,it took us 23 minutes from asking him for the bill to him actually bringing it to the table,if the place had been busy with diners i could understand it,but other than us and the one table with his friends on,the place was empty.i came away as hungery as i went in because quite frankly i didn't eat any of it.a total waste of hard earned money and time.never again would i go to this pub,not even for a drink never mind a meal.[Report for Removal] | mrs e sittingbourne kent |

| I have now visited this pub several times, mostly through bookings, but once without any booking. This is a wonderful country pub, it is clean, very friendly and excellent beer and food. The staff are excellent, nothing is too much trouble, it is so good, that we are having another meal there very shortly. I have never come across such a lovely country pub and it is a real pleasure too write a review and I wish Mark and Claire the very best wishes for the future.
