| I visited this pub whilst waiting for my car to be serviced in the near by garage. Visited on a Thursday in December at 16:30. Ordered Courage Best, excellent pint. The usual Fosters, Guinness, John Smiths were on pump. Variety of spirits and bottled drinks. Pub is well decorated, clean and very welcoming. Has a selection of regulars, but everyone friendly. Nicely decorated for Xmas. Landlord was well presented and polite. Has a juke box and an Indiana Jones fruit machine, which was 50p a go. Juke box was modern and features a wide range of music, from ska, rock, reggae to pop hits throughout the decade. Pub is dog friendly, and comfortably warm inside. The pub is located on a crossroad, so traffic can be heard outside, but not too loudly.
