| The Long Hop is a fabulous country pub. Both owners and staff are very friendly and welcoming. It is so nice to find a place that is properly heated with both central heating and 2 open fires on the go. When we went in about a week ago, the pub was beautifully decorated with several Xmas trees, lights and adornments. We were offered chestnuts to roast on the fire! There are normally 2 real ales on, one being Shep's masterbrew and 1 other guest ale which could come from anywhere, I only wish that they did food in the evenings as the Sunday roast is excellent value for money.[Report for Removal] | Beanie bat Sittingbourne Kent |

| Not the most welcoming pub I have experienced. It has the look of a nice country pub regardless being on the A2. Unfortunately it seems to have downmarket clientele and bar staff. We sat up the end near the toilets and wished we had not as there was a urine smell drifting in. We was going to sample the food but declined. [Report for Removal] | Anonymous Sittingbourne Kent |
