| i think the anchor in tilsworth is getting back on its feet since the new lady chef has been there since 2009 in may sometime she has bought the food trade back to buisness! i think she has done ever so well! i went there a few days a go for a meal with my family¬ my sister has dietry needs and the chef catered to her food diet! i thought that was brillant! ive been to the anchor a few times in the past before the new chef was there ! i found it awful! as on the menu it said homemade food ! and i can tell you now it was bought in! it tasted horrid! so i left it a few months and thought i would try it again to found a board outside sayin new chef!so i went in and WOW what a amazing dinner we had and also as i said she catered to my sister! it hard now days to found good chef who actually beleaves in good old fashioned cookin I.E homemade. i am very impressed. and i hope people who read this review . will try it for themself! you will regreat it other wise so my marks on food are excellent! and if the lady chef is to read this. thank you again my love for a lovely dinner. | This is a great pub, we went there last Friday for a meal, which was excellent. The staff were friendly and very attentive. There was even a live band playing which we stayed to listen to. Would thoroughly recommend The Anchor at Tilsworth![Report for Removal] | Ben Johnson London London |
