We had a family lunch here (not Christmas menu) the Saturday before Christmas 2008. Very nice food - lovely fish and (real) chips. My nephew specified no salad with his sandwich, but still got it (very small negative point). Real ale. Staff friendly, service good. Reasonable prices, roaring open fire.
