| Going out with friends we stopped off at The Red Lion at Market Rasen. What a refreshing change to be able to talk to each other without having to shout to make oneself heard above background music. Loved the roaring fires and the real ale was a treat - though before we left I had an excellent coffee too. It's well out of our way but we loved it so much we went back for the quizz on the Tuesday night and I'm sure it won't be our last visit. | Not a pub like it for miles. Honestly, open fires, quality ale and wierd and wonderful stuff like fruit beer on draught. We thoroughly enjoyed an evening with some friends in this nostalgic pub hidden away at the end of Rasen![Report for Removal] | James & Becky Peters Gainsborough Lincolnshire |

| What a fantastic experience. We called to check the ''new'' Red Lion out on Satuday 26th april. what a brilliant job Tom Woods has done. This is just what we've been waiting for. The pub is just ace; the decorating and furnishing attractive ; the service excellant and the beer top class.
