| Me and my husband go to The Downing Arms most Sundays, as they do the best Sunday roast dinners There lamb joint is faultless, so much so that we take everyone who comes and visits us there. even there evening meals are to a good standard. and well priced. this sunday is our one year anniversary and we are going with the family for the roast dinner.. i recomend this place, especially for the lamb.and a great atmosphere[Report for Removal] | Mrs Bill St Asaph Denbighshire |

| Meat was extremely overcooked and bone dry. Veg was also overcooked and cold. Potatoes were completely inedible due to visible black, bad patches. Bar staff very nice and helpful but on returning food to kitchen the chef/owner refused requests to replace anything. When he did eventually appear he was extremely rude and aggressive in his attitude. | Not only tatty outside (and in serious need of a lick of paint!)its dirty inside. Only really serves fish, it's 'speciality', so doesn't offer much choice at all. The meal we had was tasteless and dry with over-cooked veg. My wife had to send her starter back because it had gone cold. All food took forever to arrive. Not family friendly.
