| From being our dream family pub in the early 60`s and for many many years after, it was deamed definately the best pub in the area for both chicken in the basket and other gorgeous meals. The carvery was definately the finest in the area. | How sad, As a child we visited the Dinorben Arms on a regular basis as my parents owned a caravan at Eyryl Hall in St Asaph going back to the seventys upto the late eighties. It was a lovley place to go and chicken in a basket out side looking over the beautiful country side was unbeleivable. My wife and I have been since and unfortunatley some years ago they completley messed our order up. After spending Bank Holiday at Conway Castle with my family wanting a lovley meal to finnish off a brilliant day we thought we would go for another chance.How sad as we drove into the car park as such a lovley place seamed to have gone to ruin.I remember as a child even having to search for a place to park, However we went in. Not as bad as outside but still very worn out and in need of a good clean we orded our food. Two well done gammon and fish fingers chips and peas for Hannah our little girl. When the food came the well done gammon was bearly cooked,as of the slimey runny eggs,the greasy chips had more eyes than a peacocks tail and the fish fingers were the worst we have ever seen. After making a few chip sandwiches through hunger we asked for the bill. After paying the man asked was everything ok.After telling him as it was he never tried to refund a penny or call again on the house. We didn't go for a "free" meal just a nice one. If Gordon Ramsey ever needs a challange then look no further. All I can say is what a shame. A beautiful memory gone wrong.Wanting to show my family a lovley place where my mum and dad used to take us for a special time again how sad.
