| Having had several neighbours rave about the food at the Leyand Arms I popped along one Friday lunchtime. Whilst the lunch menu is not extensive, it is varied enough to satisfy most people. At £6.00/£6.50 the soup and sandwiches sounded ideal and was duly ordered. Minestrone soup came piping hot in a brilliant portion size and accompanied by roll and butter. The chicken & bacon sandwiches were brimming with filling, accompanied by a plentiful salad and some crisps (sadly these were salt & vinegar, which I hate - yuck!).
