| Traditional English pub (no music) just friendly folk and good banter. Very good food and more important an excellent range of ales, all brewed on the premises by the landlord Martin, and guest ales as well, on a hot day, a pint or three of "Hop gear" whilst sitting in the large open garden, or at the front of the pub overlooking the village green and duck pond of this delightful village, is sure to take you to that place of quiet contentment.
