| New landlord and landlady now in charge...what a superb couple they are, nothing is too much trouble. A VERY WELCOME change from the last pair of harridans! Food good, atmosphere gone up 100%. | The Ship Inn used to be enjoyed by many local people and passers by alike, but since it changed hand a couple of years back this formerly popular pub has been reduced to very mediocre licensed cafe but with the prices of a more reputable establishment. If you enjoy waiting 45 minutes for your food and getting and argument if you dare the complain then asked to leave and never come back then take a trip down to the ship. I think the old woman that is now running (in to the ground) the pub is probably better suited the a back street cafe. Such a shame. [Report for Removal] | Garry jones Preston Lancashire |

| Awful pub with awful landlords, they are rude and abrupt, terrible food and very rude staff. I believe the old chef has now left and it shows. The food can take over an hour to arrive and thats when it is quiet, even then it is not up to much. At one time this was a friendly family Inn but has gone right down hill.
