| The surrounding countryside is nice, but let down by a pub that appears to be in a perpetual time-warp. There are no facilities for children and very little parking.Overall we had an awful experience here. The food is little better than re-heated microwaveable fare, with little quality service or customer care. The ale was quite frankly the worst pint I've ever had the misfortune to drink, tap water would have more taste.I'm easily pleased, but even I can't find one redeeming feature of this public house. | What can we say?We stopped here for a night and can honestly say that this must be the worst pub/hotel/hellhole we have ever had the misfortune to stay at. The bitter was vile, obviously the owners don't clean the pipes from one year to the next.Service was rotten and non-existant.The meal must have come straight from either farmfoods or Smartprice,disgusting.And as for the room,don't even go there.No atmosphere,tasteless decor,rotten food,rotten service.If we could rate this dump -500 we would do.Easily the worst place in the Lancaster district by miles and we can't think of any redeeming features whatsoever,apart from being close to the main road![Report for Removal] | Brian and Fiona |
