| This pub has the best Sunday lunch (particularly the beef)in the area, so far. I say that because I only moved to Cumbria in April! The evening a la carte menu is also innovative and good value if you eat before 6.45pm (please call them to check the times), with a really good selection of fish dishes. I have only lunched here twice, and both times was disappointed, as (again) both times the jacket potatoes were over-microwaved.
