| Help save the Vine-its recent closure has led people (including former regulars)to believe that it remains closed.The new licencees are splendid-ideal for a local pub but if the trade doesnt return there is every liklihood that it will close for good leaving Chertsey without one of its best pubs[Report for Removal] | HUNTER WRIGHT CHERTSEY SURREY |

| the vine inn chertsey, has been closed more times last year than it was open. All of a sudden, it reopened, reluctantly, a few people went back in, just to be curious/nosey to whom the new landlord/landlady was. To our surprise we were met by a full of life couple who are so energetic about their new venture, they have given the vine inn a much needed injection of life, theyve got music, live and disco, they also have quiz night on tuesdays, Karaoke on fridays, and a blooming good sense of humour,. the pool table has been gotten rid of, the quiz machines back. Xmas and new year was fun, a free buffet was supplied for both nights by the patrons, no ticket was needed to get in the place, it was all free. Now in my books you dont get much better than that, its like being in an old english pub again, the real ales are truly, lovely and a delight to drink.
