| We found the food excellent and the service was impeccable. We didn't mind about the drinks having to be bought at the bar - it did state that this was a pub and not a restaurant which was acceptable. If you want good homemade food this is the place to go. The Fish Pie was piping hot and full of salmon, king prawns and scallops. The home made tomato soup was just the thing for a cold wet day. | tables are to close to each other we were nearly sitting on the next tables lap. also there was no table service for drinks you had to go and get them yourself. my sister complained about her dinner as the gravey looked and tasted like dish water there was no acknowledgement of this not even a sorry you did'nt enjoy your meal. wont be back.
