| Grew up near this pub and sad to say the atmosphere of the old spit and saw dust pub has long long gone! it is now just a poncy bistro eaterey. This is a farming community now full of toffs locally and the pub accomadtes them adequately. Food - good but rashened, asked for salt n pepper and got glared at Shame, i loved this place, visit again? would have to take a deep breath. [Report for Removal] | John west Bradford Yorkshire |

| Firstly, I must say that there are no dogs in sight in the Griffin now. We often pop in for a meal being locals and are always made very welcome and the food is very good. | Very disappointing. The staff seemed to be indifferent to all the customers. There were also some dogs, owned by the pub, that were hovering around us while we ate the food we had waited an inordinate amount of time for. At these prices, I would have expected better service and nicer food. That's what are are going out for. For this money, you could get some top quality food and a nice bottle of wine and enjoy yourself in the comfort of your own home (and without the mangy dogs).[Report for Removal] | BorisCAMRA Halifax West Yorkshire |

| I had travelled down from Aberdeen and had gone out for a meal with family when we chanced on this pub after being refused food at another pub in the area for arriving 5 minutes before they were due to finish serving it was 5.55 pm on a Sunday. The food, the service and friendliness of the staff and the atmosphere at the Griffin Inn were wonderful. I will certainly be visiting again when I am in the area.
