| We eat at the Sun regularly and always receive a very warm welcome. The food is excellent and very innovative, Richard & Gail are excellent hosts and even welcome our little dog, Barney, who always enjoys an evening out!! whether you wish the full three course experience or just a drink & a snack you will be made welcome here, in this really friendly local pub. | Having eaten here on a number of occasions I can say the food is of a very high standard being cooked to order with fresh local ingredients of the highest order. | I have visited on five different occasions since April, once for Sunday lunch, (vegetables for which arrive separately) and other times on a weekday. The welcome, service, atmosphere and food is consistently very good. Starters and desserts are changed frequently: food is prepared and cooked on the premises,its presentation is imaginative, and it tastes great every time. After visiting first as a couple, we have since taken different guests each time, and they too have praised the food and service. There is a wide variety of drinks on offer, local ales and cider included, and wines are well chosen and reasonable.
