| The White hart has reopened and is everything a good country pub should be ! Great food, reasonably priced, roaring fires, sports on the TV, a good selection of beers and a warm welcome from staff and customers alike. | The White hart pub, whelpley hill, is re opening under new management on the 18/12/10. It is currently closed for refurbishment, restoring it back to a typical village pub! There will be different kinds of events held there, also, a community darts team etc. The White Hart, although a typical village pub, will be serving good old fashioned pub grub. There will be a new secure play area for kids, along with a re structured garden , so it will be a great family pub, and a great place to be! A large screen will be up for big footy and rugby games, along with F1, moto gp and superbikes! Come down on the 18th December 2010 for the opening night and enjoy a free buffet and entertainment!
