| Had my third meal at the George tonight once again just good food. This is a lovely little village pub, serving good home cooked food. Good ales, friendly staff, locally produced food (the butcher is next door) with fresh vegetables, all in season. Ignore the freaky vegans, they should go pack to the planet Vegas and stay there.[Report for Removal] | Andrew Aylesbury Bucks |

| We have had a number of meals at the George & Dragon and we can honestly say that they have the BEST home cooked pub meals available you could ask for. The fare is wholesome, honest and plentiful. The pub itself is a lovely 'typical' English pub and the staff are caring and helpful. Best damn grub around![Report for Removal] | Richard Bacon Prestwood Bucks |

| 13 of us for lunch. 1 was a vegan. On the menu was a mushroom and pepper strogenoff which looked hopeful. The vegan asked if it was animal product free, in response a frozen packet was brought out from the kitchen and the label presented, it contained cream. We asked if the kitchen could make something specially, we suggested a veg stirfry as all the ingredients were there. They only managed boiled rice and boiled cabbage and carrots!! This was sent back in disbelief. Nothing else was offered (other than prawns!!). The waiter said that the vegan could eat the boiled stuff offered or something else from the menu...nothing on the menu was suitable!! Although the staff were keen to please we were astounded that the kitchen were not able the russle up anything more edible. The other meals were obviously bought in ready-made, were high in salt and low in ingredients. E.G. the wild mushroom lasagne contain about 2 mushroom. The garlic brad was excellent. On the whole the staff were lovely but the kitchen was greatly lacking a chef!! [Report for Removal] | Catherine Gupta Bicester Oxfordshire |
