| We called in by chance at 2.15pm today having been turned away from a nearby Pub who had stopped serving food. We were greeted with friendly attitude and given the menu as they serve food until 3pm. We ordered from a menu of two meals for £10.00 so we thought it would be the standard of a chain (ie Weatherspoon) which would be fine as we were all hungry, what a pleasant surprise when it arrived. The generous portions of home prepared food was really something. I would recommend this pub wholeheartedly, and plan to return really soon as we were so full we didn't samply to desserts!
