| This pub must have changed landlords since the last review as my visit was terrible. Arrived on a sunday for lunch. no heating on in pub the place was very cold.(it was warmer outside. Waited for lunch 20 mins only to get luke warm food that was eith over or undercooked and tasted terrible. we left as quick as we could. we paid over £50.00 and got robbed. never again ...Steer well clear[Report for Removal] | Andrew Goodwill Bognor Regis West Sussex |

| This almost surely the fines Pub/Eatery that I have come across whilst searching for good food in the locality of Harrogate. The menu is extremely varied - the drink prices are reasonable - the staff and the locals are extremely friendly - but possibly the most important factor is that the food is served well cooked and plentiful - if one has the roast dish then there are at least 2 large dishes of varied vegetables served with it. If like me you enjoy a ploughmans lunch - then all I can say is that it is the finest ploughmans that I have ever eaten with enough cheese to feed several families of mice.
