| Only go to the Foxhouse Inn for their carvery if you enjoy eating overcooked, dried up, coarse, inedible beef. Where do they source it from? It was the very poorest quality. They might cook it each day, so they say, although we were not so sure. It could have been heated up from the previous day. Our knives would not cut it and it could not be chewed. Same with the Yorkshires. They were dried up and inedible. Trouble is; they put the carvery out hours before it is eaten and the food just sits under very hot lamps for a very long time. To make matters worse, the staff were in complete denial and even argued that we were misguided when we presented very politely our feedback. One of them was quite aggressive. It seems we should not have had the temerity to give them feedback. They were understaffed and overstretched. Tables did not get cleared promptly.
