| We came to visit the pub on 09/02/08 for a special occasion and had been looking for something in the area which offered a play area for our young daughters as well. We had never been before, so we did not really know, where to order what.Nobody attended to us. We ordered our food and choose a table and it was served fairly quickly ( within 20 min) but the waitress was everything but customer focused and just casually threw the sauces in plastic containers on our table. During the main course, nobody asked once, if we wanted another drink or if we liked the food. We had to order deserts ourselves again and I settled the bill. Nobody cleared the dirty plates away and they were in front of me for 30 min. They were only removed, when there was no space for the desert. The main course was quite tasty, but the ice cream was very disappointing and overpriced. Again, nobody asked if we wanted to order any coffees etc and we left without anyone even thanking us for visting or saying they hope to see us again. It almost spoiled a nice day. They are obviously not interested in keeping customers and I will not recommend them to anyone, who would to go for a meal and feel good about the experience after. I do not know if you want to publish this, but I think the management should take this to heart, because it could be a good pub with a few changes.[Report for Removal] | Driessen Silsden West Yorks |
