| I went there as it was billed as a family pub. No high-chairs, dirty smelly toilets, rubbish food. Expensive and not good value. The Land-lord was shaven headed thug who was rude and initimdating and threw us out when my son cried (very 'family-friendly'). The waitress was a slob and really impatient. | Showed up here on a very quiet Sunday lunchtime with my dog after a walk around the Ruislip Lido. I was happy to see the Children and Dogs allowed before 8pm sign, and wandered in. We were served at the bar and ordered food, only to be told after ordering that because someone dining in the room didn't like dogs, they'd have to ask us to leave. My dog has certainly never offended anyone in the past, and has been welcomed around london in dogs-allowed pubs before. There was no suggestion that he caused any problems, apart from perhaps wagging his tail too much. In short - rude staff and aloof landlord on a quiet day.[Report for Removal] | Josh London London |
