| I ordered a 10oz rump steak to be cooked medium and was charged £11.45.I thought this to be rather expensive considering you get a steak meal for much less in most places.The steak was cremated and was nearer 5oz than 10.It was served with chips and small serving of salad.Most place would serve steak with mushrooms,peas or sweetcorn and onion rings.I can only presume the price of my meal and lack of it was covering the cost of my wifes free meel.I would never go there again and urge others not to either.[Report for Removal] | martin lombardi southampton hants |

| Forty-six of us from an over 60's Club went in for lunch to-day (Thursday, 11th December 2008) The tables were clean and well laid out with crackers, bombs and paper hats. The service from the young girls was prompt and cheerful. The plates were loaded to the edges with hot, well cooked food and was all delivered with smile after smile. | We went to the West Moen (not Hut any more) and yet again they ran out on beer. This is not the first or second time, in fact I avoid going there but is was convenient as we were with some friends. | stopped off for a meal one sunday. my wife and child went in ahead of me when i entered i was met by a member of staff and shown to where my family had been seated.We decided on the carvery 2 adult and 1 child. when we went up we where served with 3 very generous adult portions. When my child wanted the toilet the waitress very kindly offered to show him where it was so we did not have to disrupt our meals if we did not want to. We had a fantastic meal and no complaints. | My husband and I (!!!) visited tonight hoping to eat a fresh Carvery meal - how wrong can you be? The Jamie Cullum lookalike serving spent 85% of his time in the kitchen. I got served, started eating as my husband drew the short straw and waited a good 10 minutes before the lad returned to serve. Unfortunately I had to request fresh roast potatoes as the ones left in the dish looked as if they had been cooked last Friday! (That took time). Don't worry - we won't darken your door again and will recommend that any one we know, who is thinking of visiting, will be given a full version of our experience. Trusting you don't find this review offensive but a true version of how badly the business is being run. | We had come here about 9mnths ago and enjoyd a family meal, so chose it for my 40th what a disaster. The empty place should have been an idicator. Ordered our food from sullen waitress and manager. Heard the waitress asking the manager how to cook the starter!Soup was so thick was like puree tomato totally inedible,garlic bread burnt black, potato skins solid. Again heard someone if they should put the spuds on before the chicken! Chips were reheated version. Everyone was terrible. Manager couldnt careless. I people coming through the door not to eat anything there. Will never venture through the doors again and am already spreading the news to my friends. What a shame once this place was a happy place to eat where the meal was enjoyable. Now you wouldnt send your worst enemy. | We were invited out by some friends and decided to meet at a restuarant which was central to us all. When we arrived we were aware of "All you can eat Curry night" & two for the price of one. We arrived at a little after 6.15pm and sat in the non smoking area, unfortunatly the table we sat at had not been wiped and our eldest son happened to place his arm stright into the spilt drink. When going up to get a tissue to clean the table I was aware of 2 people complaining about cold food, I should have realised what was to come. There were not many people at the venue, so I was suprised when I was ignored by the bar maid for some time when trying to order a drink, the bar maid clearly had no desire to be thier or at least that was the impression I was given. I left details of my credit card with the man behind and went to the self service area, I opted for the chicken Korma and sampled a small portion, given the fact that the chef had just emptied a plastic microwavable (meal for two) type dish into what was left of the curry. I took my plate back to our table and chatted to our friends, however when returning for a second portion I discovered that they had in fact run out. I made my observations known to the Manager who did not even apologise, "It happens" given that this was early evening I was a little miffed to say the least, both currys had run out. When leaving we were told by "Tom" (Name on the reciept) that we would be given a discount, which I would have expected as a minimum, however, on close inspection of the reciept this is not the case. I telephoned in the morning and spoke to "Lindsay" who was another Manager who demonstrated some empathy and agreed to provide us with a letter offering 20% discount-Quite honestly I would never rerturn to this place again.
