| where did Hamish go. this used to be a friendly, welcoming country pub.Serving great home cooked food. The new managers, have not got a clue about locals and what we what . Dining here a couple of weeks ago, found only 4 choices on the specials menu. one be veggy and 2 fish.I was left with one option, that i might like, but it was awful. Simon and his crew, trying too hard to fit in, and it shows. Please no dogs. We had to contend with a couple of idiots and there dogs. Tripping over the bloody things to enter the place. We like good home cooked food, as it used to serve. Waiting 10 minutes to be served a drink, not on. Brings back the sisters, donna and elle, they made the pub very homely.
