| Recommended by third party on our way back to Brighton on 6 Jan 12. Pub in Grove Lane 1 mile S of Petworth (which appears to have almost no pubs!). The Grove was a real find in a lovely rural position. Excellent Horsham bitter poured straight from the barrel. Rustic interior with old sofas by a lovely log fire. Plus a beautifully presented and smart conservatory for eating in, with linen napery. We had a first class meal including excellent pheasant.
