| Hav`nt been in this pub for 30 years and was pleasantly surprised .An excellent welcome from the landlord Steve, and a good selection of local beers and wines After being shown into the separate restaurant we were given a very extensive menue I chose the fillet steak which in my opinion was as good as they come ,another member of our party chose lamb chump which was a huge lump of lamb knuckle on a bed of mashed potato . The veg came on a separate plate which in my opinion could have done with a few more minutes cooking as it was nearly raw, but the wide range of sweets more than complimented the main course To sum up it is a pleasant place to visit with your granny as she would not be disappointed.[Report for Removal] | Barry Welham Stroud Gloucestershire |
