| The service was poor, very slow, both for food and at the bar. The meal was indifferent. They (Swan Inn policy) refused to serve tap water with the meal, even when the customers had already ordered and paid for several drinks each. The beer was good, however, but when the barrel ran dry the only barman disappeared for 20 minutes to try and fix it, and no other member of staff stepped in to serve frustrated customers. The manager was unwilling to accept any criticism of the service provided, which is a pity because feedback is given in good faith.
