| The Best Pub Food Ever Eaten! This pub has reopened under new ownership in the last few weeks, Adam is front of house and Toby is its outstanding chef! We detoured through the Cotswold's on our way back from the Yorkshire Dales yesterday, coming upon The Bell Inn by chance, because of full car parks in Stow center. We couldn't believe our luck! The pub was empty, bar a very helpful local, but you felt the welcome as you opened the door. We ordered homemade burgers with your choice of fry's, scallops in the shell with gruyere cheese and game pie with red wine gravy and veg. WOW! The flavours could not be beaten! Toby is a flavour genius! We love the food so much we have decided to return to Stow and the surrounding area between Xmas and the new year to experience their hospitality and amazing food again!!! All my husband kept randomly saying on our journey home was lovely, lovely, lovely, for once not meaning me :). NOT TO BE MISSED!
