| We had lunch on Bank Holiday Monday. We were lucky to get a table as the place quickly filled up. The ale was 'clear and bright', looked and tasted well kept. The food was served beautifully, by polite and attentive staff. Our main course was of a high standard, such that we also indulged in a sweet. We left very well satisfied. This pub has quite a good reputation reading its reviews, I would say they are well deserved. Well worth considering an advanced booking if your in a larger party, or are making a special trip.
