| We have just returned from dining at the Appletree Inn What a wonderful surprise! The food and service were 5 star+. The menu was excellent and the prices were made to please my Scottish heritage.The two young ladies who served us never stopped moving. The management are to be congratulated for choosing to omit starters as well as providing the hot & cold buffet, which the kitchen staff kept topped up. Just to finish off a delightful evening we enjoyed a splendid coffee. We have had the pleasure at eating in quite a few establishments not only in the Forest but beyond. | We ate early dinner last evening at the Apple Tree and were very happy with the decor of the dining room, the quality of service, the variety of the menu, the quality and quantity of the meals,the helpfulness and skill of all the staff including most attentive waitresses, the cleanliness of the facilities and the size of the bill.
