| We arrived early Saturday lunch time and the place was empty - not a good sign you might think. Wrong because on closer inspection most of the tables in the bar were reserved. Slowly the place started to fill up. The menu is displayed on a chalk board along with daily specials and there is a varied selection to cater for most tastes. My wife had Salmon whilst I opted for a checken dish. When they arrived they were a good sized portions with well cooked hot vegatables on side plates. The prices, certainly for what we had were on the high side for a pub lunch, having said that we chose them and could not fault the quality. We left, well fed and satisfied.
