| The only thing I can say to the new owners of the White Hart, is well done! Not only is the food amazing, well cooked and well presented. But the staff are friendly and the whole place now has a wonderful atmosphere that all pubs should have, but most, sorely lack! My wife and I have been to the white Hart on several occasions in the past. We have suffered some pretty terrible food and service by the previous couple of owners and vowed NEVER to go there again! But this time, under new management, we thought we'd give it one last chance. We were greeted by happy, smiling staff, a decent selection of drinks and an amazing selection on the menu. Once again, well done to the new owners. | My husband and I were holidaying in the area again and decided to try this pub as I had seen the review of new ownership.well done mark and sarah!.what a difference,we were not intending to eat there but when we saw the menu we changed our minds and had a superb meal,there are lots of meals to choose from and very reasonably priced,the staff were extremely pleasant and welcoming,I would recommend any one to try it.Good luck mark and sarah.[Report for Removal] | cheryl ludlow derby derbyshire |

| The White Hart is now under new ownership, Sarah and I have brought the pub back to a more traditional style, offering good home cooked food at an affordable price, a place where the tired traveller can Drink, Dine and Relax, to those of you that have been upset by the previous owners, why not come back and give us a try. | I hole heartedly agree with Mary Baker.My husband and I haved travelled the length and breadth of the uk using many pubs for meals and have never been spoken to so rudely by anyone like we were by both the young lady and the owner come chef all because we took a bar snacks menu into the restuarant area.In the current financial climate they need to welcome their customers not drive them away with rudeness or they will not survive financially and will end up closing.I would not recommend anyone visiting this establishment.Our altercation happened on 02-06-08.[Report for Removal] | cheryl ludlow derby derbyshire |

| We visited this pub on the 31.5.08 "4 adults", we were not drunk or disruptive. The young lady running the restaurant is the rudest person I have ever met in the hospitality industry. We were polite and courteous to her up to the minute she told us we were obviously the type of people who would complain about their meal and she would cancel our order. As we stood up to leave the restaurant another family of five left their drinks and lunch order because they were disgusted at the way she had spoken to us, loudly enough for the bar and restuarant customers to hear. The situation was both embarrassing and laughable. In the time we were at the White Hart, approximately one hour, 11 customers left after being offended by the manner in which this woman spoke to them. Surely the owners must know she is throwing their business venture away for them.
