| Likes to think of itself as an upmarket country pub. Reality is very plain and extremely over priced food. Barman told me he could not reduce the amount of ice in the tiny glasses of soft drinks we bought. They charged £3.90 for two tiny drinks of orange with lemonade more than half full of ice. The baguette with tuna mayonnaise was beyond awful, all mayonnaise with hardly any tuna in a 20p 'plastic' baguette. Only the soup was okay although very small portions. When we complained the manager refused to refund money and brought back the sandwich with a tiny amount of chopped spring onions on it as if that would make it okay. He blamed the budget that the chef had to work with! Not my business I thought and when I told him I would not be back he said 'no bother'. What a rip off! Cost nearly £23 for two soups, two rotten baguettes and about 11 small breaded mushrooms with a tiny bit of salad! Rip Off Britain is alive and well![Report for Removal] | Andy Houston Glasgow Lanarkshire |
