| Well, despite Brian's comments below, me and my family will definitely be returning again to the Hungry Fox, we had a lovely meal and would highly recommend it to anyone. The meal I had (lasagne) was mouth-watering and very nicely presented and our waitress was very attentive and nothing was too much trouble. The restaurant is also child-friendly with a good choice of appetising meals for children which makes a nice change! The pub's speciality wine also went down a treat! | interesting to read Brians comments as i have never served Lemon Sole here but have sold lovely fresh locally caught Trout which sales out everytime we put it on the menu. | Its the second time ive been and the second time ive been dissapointed. The first time i succumbed to the chefs specials board and had the Lemon Sole. When it came it looked like a trout not a member of the flatfish family, when i asked the waitress she replied "i dont know what a Lemon Sole should look like" and that was that. Tonight i again went for the chefs specials and had the lamb steak, my first attempt to cut it failed so i asked for another knife and after more hacking gave up, luckily i had a good plate of veg or i would have been hungry.
