| I attended Jean's family party. The pub was excellent, the landlord ensured we had everything we needed. We had a seperate small function room for our party. The food was wonderful, nicely presented, plentiful and piping hot!!! The waitress was particullarly helpful, nothing was too much trouble, she even took photographs for us. Well worth a visit. | I picked this pub for a family celebration after being let down by another in the area. All 16 of our party agreed it was the best decision I could have made. It is an extremely cosy pub, with more than helpful, cheerful and extremely welcoming staff. The food was well cooked and plentiful and the service exemplary. | This Pub / Inn is under new ownership. Friendly owners but inexperienced. The bedroom was very clean but had a very strong smell of paint, it was freezing cold and had very little hot water - only enough for one shower (one person!)in the morning & in the evening. Difficult when there are two of you! Sunday lunch - both the Pork & Beef were 'rubbery'.
