| We stayed in a campsite nearby in a motor home but visited this pub on three occassions during our stay and wanted to share our very positive experience of The Globe Inn as a pub. It has something for everyone! We loved the cosy dining area for Sunday Lunch which was our initial booking, however we arrived the day before and cycled up to check it out and ended up staying for the afternoon in the outside covered, heated area while our two daughters enjoyed the enclosed and very safe play area, There was a good selection of beers and wines and the staff were really friendly. As mentioned we returned the following day for Sunday Lunch, which was superb, including to die for desserts, and later on that day they were showing the football on Sky sports for my husband to enjoy while I had a coffee and read the Sunday papers and the girls trampolined and swung to their hearts content in the playground. Very rarely does a pub offer so much to every member of the family. A must if you are staying anywhere along this stretch of the Great Western Canal. We will definately be back!
