| This is one to take the in-laws or your parents to. It is more of an eaterie now than a traditional local and there are two bars - the main one based around the food and seating area and a smaller 'locals' bar which features a dart board and a cosy seating area. Beers are good and when we were there a couple of good ales. Packed restaurant with alot of very middle class patronage. To the entrance of the main bar is a small snug area and fireplace which appear to boast a number of attractive character ornaments and features. Well worth a visit for the snug area or the local bar if you just want a pint or two. The pub is removed from the main Enfield circuit so you wont be offended by the lager lout brigade and you will definitely have some brownie points off the mother-in-law if you take her for a Sunday lunch here. Well worth a visit but difficult to get to without a car.[Report for Removal] | matthew enfield middlesex |
