| This pub is a no nonsense local with no frills attached. As such the 'pretentious moi?' and Range Rover brigade run a mile and that is no bad thing at all. Instead you have a selection of local people although generally not a teens/early twenty venue. Fantastic jukebox/music download machine together where you can virtually download any band ever recorded. There is also regular music on weekend evenings (the local music circuit that is). It also shows sport via a big screen (we understand mainly football). In a recess there is a pool table tucked away. To the rear of the pub is a contained beer garden. Service was polite and prompt. Mainly a lager selection so if you like your real ale then there is a limited selection. Fabric was a bit tired and pub could do with a refurb. This place is never going to be the Ritz and depending on your view of life you will either love or hate it. We liked it as it is something different bordering on the eclectic. Any pub where the local band play on the flat roof overlooking the beer garden in the Summer (and ignoring all the health and safety officials) has a definite thumbs-up from us! According to a local there is an occasional Summer plant sale from one of the locals from said flat roof as well. Something about that flat roof prompts a visit out of curiosity if nothing else!![Report for Removal] | matthew enfield middlesex |

| this pub used to be a great local, now its full of drugs and the staff dont even do anything about. The landlady is never about and dont care about the place at all.... Loads of people have stopped drinking there. the drugs need to stop, it was never a druggies pub!!! [Report for Removal] | Norman Jones enfield middx |
