| on visiting the pie factory in wordlsey i was extremely pleased with the service and value for money i received therefore at a later date took my family to the one in tipton (9th january 2010) and was extrmely disapointed with the meals we received along with a poor customer service! on arriving we ordered four hot drinks all of which were served in dirty chipped mugs. The meals we received were a lot smaller portions compared to the wordsley one , the chips were cold and dryed up , the meat in the pies was of a poor quality aswell particularly the steak one whcih was more like 100 percent gristle , from making a complaint to a memeber of staff who worked there she wasnt of any help at all and made a snardy remark that the wordlsey one obviously jsut give to much away when really this is not the case its sjut the wordsley one is one hundred percent better quality compared to the tipton one ![Report for Removal] | kirsty west midlands west midlands |

| The food was very highly priced for the area, so our expectations were high. However when it arrived..... The pie dish was chipped and cracked, ( presenting a hygiene risk ) The chips were black and skinny ( like chip shop scraps ) and the steak was poor. The rest of the meals were just as bad. The waitress dumped the food on the table and left promptly and didn't return to check if everything was OK. The beer too was highly priced and the glasses were dirty. Is sent these comments to the Pie Factory and this is what I got back !!!!! I have never had a letter "e" mail like this before, I'm amazed that a fellow business person can be so critical. As you can tell you have upset me, but when you get any where near my success and my personal wealth then we can discuss business sensibly. P.s. | 09-04-2008. Just been. The pies were OK, the crispy black pudding was OK but the fish was rotten! The manager had an attitude just because of a complaint about badly cooked fish. He upset my eight year old daughter with his offensive attitude and language. She ordered the fish. It also appeared like the upstairs toilet was leaking in from the floor above. Second table along from the food counter. Best bet steer well clear. It used to be good a while back but its gone right down the pan. R Bostin it aye! | I dont normally do reviews but felt compelled to do this one. Its a strange place that lacks atmosphere although the staff are friendly enough. You could get by the blip of little atmosphere if the food was great but it again was awful , my veggie choice costing well over a fiver would have been beaten by a bakery pasty bought in the street. I would avoid this place at all costs if youre looking for a nice atmosphere, good food and value for money. [Report for Removal] | Sally oldbury west midlands |
