| The only good point here was the beer (Palmers) which was well looked after but the food we brought must rate as some of the worst I have ever had in a pub. I paid nearly £9.00 for local sausages and mash in onion gravy. What I got was the smallest portion of potato I have ever seen which was totally tasteless. The same goes for the sauasages and the gravy. My wife had ham, egg and chips and the eggs covered a meagre piece of ham and she counted the chips as there were hardly any (total 9). Its not chea for the amount and quality you get. it says something when a woman sat over form us after eating her meal then proceeded to eat the leftovers that her children had left as there was not enough on her plate. I reccommend it for a beer but don't bother with the food where there are lots of better pubs not far away. The service stank also, i was hoping that someone was going to ask if we enjoyed our food so I could have a rant about it but they did not.[Report for Removal] | steve mann Hastings East Sussex |
