| The Acorn is a nice layed out pub. Some of the clients on a weekday, especially mid-day on a Monday to Thursday leave something to be desired; ie drunken hard men (and I mean Hard Men!) | A nicely spacious and well laid out pub- however the food leaves a lot to be desired. Frozen chips that were over fried making them hollow and crispy. The same goes for the under-size fish. When I tried cutting into it, it ouzed with grease. The steak wasn't bad, although served with those awful chips and an equally awful side salad which comprised of loads of lettuce with a few tiny pieces of peppers and cucumber. You may as well nip into the Sainsbury's just up the road and buy a couple of frozen ready meals.[Report for Removal] | john doncaster south yorkshire |
