| I cant believe all the knockers out there, chris is a superb landlord and has been a success everywhere he has been, I have been a regular of his for over 5 years and he has been like a brother to me, I have not had a job for over 20 years and to be honest i have a bit of a drugs problem, despite this Chris has been loyal to me and I will remain loyal to him, Pippa should shut her mouth before someone shuts it for her, I would love her to come in and call us Riff Raff to our faces, just because we dont work and like the occasional pick me up does not make us Riff Raff, keep up the good work big man[Report for Removal] | Loyal customer Spennymoor Durham |

| I was a regular in the Volti and the kingfisher when Chris took over, and he had a splendid setup, good drink and good company, and cheap drugs what more could you ask for, give him a break !!!! | hiya everyone,i am chris hill the new licensee of the ash tree which is a pub that suits everyones taste.regarding the riff raff that pippa states all i would ask is come and see for yourselves.ive run pubs in spennymoor town centre for the last 10 years and have in my opinion and many others ran good pubs.i have always had a rule that anyone caught using or dealing in drugs or using violence will be barred for life(obviously pippa is one of these)The Ash tree is run by myself and vince carmedy an offshore electrician and we aim to cater for everyone.we have a darts team on a monday night and a general knowledge quiz on a tuesday and a music quiz every two weeks on a sunday.we serve home cooked quality food wed-fri evenings and our excellent sunday dinners from 12-2 where booking is advisable.we have a pool table and large screen televisions showing all live sporting action so wether its a nice meal or a good night out the ash tree is the place to be.[Report for Removal] | chris hill spennymoor durham |

| Quite simply a magnificent pub once more. I can only assume the knockers preferred sitting in a vacuum for 4 years or have personal issues with the new landlord. I went back for the opening night and have hardly been away from the place since. If a 44 year old who likes nothing more than good food and drink in a safe environment is classed as riff raff then count me in. | Completely gone downhill since the new landlord Chris Hill has taken over. Abysmal atmosphere, once a nice little pub that attracted a good cliental, but now the landlord has brought all the riff raff with him, one to avoid to be honest unless you like a good brawl with sub standard beer.
