| When we were there, we knew it wasn't going to be the greatest bar in the world when we went up to order our first pint and the bar staff were discussing openly in the bar - whilst serving customers - about how little they thought of other members of staff. The staff appeared to begrudge us being there and were so rude and beligerent at times that it became a standing joke in our group, who was going to draw the short straw and risk the bullish bar staff? In addition, the beer was OKish, food was very overpriced and it lacked atmosphere. Whilst the hotel looks the part, none out of our party of 50 plus people rated it at all. I would rather go somewhere comfy and feel relaxed than get annoyed by bar staff without common manners (and I have served bar and waitressed for more than 7 years, so I know it can be hard but there's no excuse for rudeness).[Report for Removal] | D Haigney Worcester WORCS |
