| Lovely Pub, which has recently been taken over by a local couple. Pub was pretty awful before they took over, it was dirty, unwelcoming and the beer was not very good at all. Now the place is spotless, the beer is great, and they now server cask ales which are second to none (so my husband tells me). They do smashing home cooked food and their Sunday Lunch is to die for. They have already got their function room up and running, and have had a live band play, and have three large en suite accommodation rooms, which come with a huge full english breakfast. They also have Karaoke, pool table and I believe they have many new events etc planned for the new year. Considering they have not been there for very long, just a few months, they have certainly performed some magic, as it is unrecognisable from that it was.
