| really disappointed by the "sunday lunch" today. the chicken was only just at the point of being fully cooked and the "homemade sage and onion stuffing " the menu promised us was nowhere to be found. we had a tiny amount of unseasoned veg between four of us and the yorkshire pudding left alot to be desired. the service was poor at best. we weren't even offered condiments. beautiful decor and surroundings but at the cost of good food and service.[Report for Removal] | zena stanley durham |

| The food was no better than average. The prices were much higher than average and the service was absolutely appalling. We had to wait 40 minutes for a table that we had booked in advance, while people who hadn't booked tables were shown to a table almost immediately. When we finally got to our table we had to wait another 20 minutes before our order was taken. We passed on our comments to the waitress who brought our bill and we were told that a manager would come to our table to speak to us. After 5 minutes of waiting for a manager we left. | Very good food but let down by absolutely terrible service. Staff walk past empty plates on tables without clearing them away, they stand around chatting to each other instead of helping the customers.
