| food average. have expanded menu in recent years. lovely draught. has a lovely country feel, very popular with cyclists, walkers and visitors to Beamish museum. is a minute up the road from the bobby shafto caravan and camp site. always busy, but not too crowded....especially through the summer where you can enjoy a pint outside in the sun after a long walk or cycle along the nearby old rail track.definately worth a visit.[Report for Removal] | claire durham durham |

| We have been several times on a Saturday night and it is usually quiet. The service is good, the food plentiful and of good quality. Well worth a visit, but in summer when the museum is open it can be busy.[Report for Removal] | Colin birtley durham |
