| having read the pewvious 2 reviews i would just like to say my experience was just beautiful! the food never changes from the best home cooked quality food. I couldn't disagree more with the two unhappy people, i hope they complained the the management on the day as i am sure the situation would have been sorted, too may people walk away without saying anything then go and spread a bad work in an unfair manner !! The service has also been very good, and i know the new inn has a firm set of regular diners who support the new inn week after week without fail. The new inn is also extremely busy and advance bookings are always required for the carvery on sundays and wednesdays, speaks for itself really !![Report for Removal] | alison hartshorne derbyshire |

| Booked table well in advance for fathers day sunday lunch with friends,after being told the food was lovely,BUT was extremly disappointed.We was seated to a table with not enough seats so had to squeeze round to make room for another place.Our table got forgotten,then was told not enough starters left,what was left we didn't like.The main course, which most of got left,had lots of room for improvement,my 12 year old son could have done better.We was then told out of 7 choices of pudding,they only had 3 choices left.You can safely say we won't be going there again.What a lovely fathers day lunch we had ![Report for Removal] | Nicky Swadlincote Derbyshire |

| Booked a table for Fathers day carvery for 7 people when shown to the table it only seated 6 so had to squeeze in,then waited while starters were served and waited and waited so had a word to tell them that we had not been offered starters whilst others were going for main course,then when offered starters we were given a choice of melon or soup asked for prawn cocktail and were told that they had non left ,so we said we were going to leave but then the head waitress said we would have prwn cocktails in 5 minutes ? so we agreed to stay , the prawn cocktails did arrive in 5 minutes as promised as tescos express is close by we assumed they were from there ,then main course ,mashed potatoes full of salt hard lumps as well ,roast potatoes slightly raw? stuffing very overdone had to force knife through to part , meat all ok, dessert was offered 3 choices nothing with custard ,it was a total disgrace really as also we noticed the next table were waiting for their dinner plates to be removed and they had their dinner well before us and yes they to had been forgotten they had to shout up to get their desert orders,no bread rolls at the start either people all over were asking for bread rolls as some people had some on their table and others had non,we will never go back there again as the standard of the cooking suggest to me as they are simply not trained to even the basics of tasks .
